At Domaine de la Gazaille de Camille, life slows gently.

Nestled in the peaceful countryside of Lot-et-Garonne in South West France, our family-run petit château offers a place to rest, reflect, and reconnect with quieter rhythms of life.

The Camilleri family, together with Max, our beloved teddy bear Husky, warmly welcome guests from around the world to experience the stillness and charm of rural France.

Surrounded by nature, birdsong, open skies, and views towards the river, the Domaine offers a welcoming haven for travellers seeking calm, comfort, and authenticity in the French countryside.

Here, mornings begin slowly with fresh coffee, long breakfasts, and the gentle sounds of the garden. Days unfold at their own pace between peaceful moments, countryside walks, local discoveries, reading beneath the trees, or simply relaxing under the southern French sun.

The château offers a small number of Bed & Breakfast rooms within the main house, alongside a self-catering cottage with its own private garden overlooking the river.

Guests come for many reasons.

Some are travelling through the Lot Valley and looking for a peaceful overnight stay. Others come to rest and step away from the demands of everyday life. Some seek a quiet place to reconnect with nature, enjoy the countryside, or simply slow down for a few days.

Many find that the calm surroundings naturally create space for reading, reflection, creative work, or uninterrupted time to think. Others are perfectly content to spend their days exploring the region, enjoying long lunches, walking by the river, or simply doing very little at all.

Meals are available by advance booking and may be enjoyed privately or shared at the table, entirely according to preference.
